Crow

The Black-capped Chickadees that visit our feeders are fast little birds.  Their arrival and departure is so quick I barely have time to focus and shoot before they are out of sight. Today I did get a few shots of them, DSC_0205 DSC_0214along with a nice big, posing Crow in one of our yard trees.

Before long two European Starlings DSC_0224 DSC_0221 showed up and after a while one of them settled in for a snack.

At the same time a male Downy Woodpecker and a female Hairy Woodpeckerwere busy at the nearby seed bells.  All in all, a fun morning to see some new birds in our yard.
