Carolina Wren Nest

Happy to report that the Carolina Wren pair has indeed set up a nursery in the crevice between our gate post and the corner of the garage. They can be seen arriving frequently with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. I did get a peek at the nest which is cave-like and protecting the chick/s. Tiny chirping sounds are audible. The pair doesn’t seem to mind me getting close to snap the photos. Will be watching for the fledglings…speaking of which, the Cornell Red-tailed Hawks have all fledged, too! See the activity on the bird cam.DSC_0675 DSC_0622 DSC_0630 DSC_0634 DSC_0638 DSC_0657 DSC_0662 DSC_0664 DSC_0668 DSC_0641 DSC_0621.
