Great Blue Heron Growth

Great Blue Heron ChickThe lens on the Heron web cam has been bombarded with gunk making it difficult to get an   unobstructed screen shot from that camera. Unable to crop the blurry mess out of the photo, I have left it in.  The Heron chicks are getting very big and are expected to fledge within the next few weeks.  As my springtime activity on the computer is about to end I will attempt to create some art from the many screen shots I have taken.  As was the case last year, the Heron chicks are tall enough that frequently their heads are beyond the reach of the lens, leaving only shots of long legs and bellies.  Here are some shots from the last week.
