What’s For Dinner?

hawkA25fStarling, snake and pigeon provide some tasty morsels for the Red-tailed Hawk chicks today.  During mealtime I have only seen one chick being fed at a time.  Many times Big Red and Ezra will have their backs to the camera while feeding their chicks.  In terms of getting good screen shots this does not provide the best of opportunities, but considering I am not too fond of watching the fresh kill being torn apart, this angle also has its benefits.  Here are this afternoon’s shots of feeding.
